Manicure Monday: Kyoto Pearl & Matte Top Coat
Happy Manicure Monday, everyone!
With the Aries season slowly wrapping up, I wanted to quickly pop in and share today’s manicure monday, featuring OPI’s Kyoto Pearl and Matte Top Coat. I have been wanting to wear a pearlescent color on my nails and found Kyoto Pearl at my local Target. Upon applying Kyoto Pearl, the color is a shimmery white satin color. I would recommend Kyoto Pearl to anyone who is getting married and are looking for a nail color to match against their wedding dress for a classic pop of shine.
For me, I wanted to heighten Kyoto Pearl after layering three coats. Therefore while I was at Target, I purchased OPI’s Matte Top Coat to layer on top of Kyoto Pearl. Although a bit of the shimmer disappeared, the Matte Top Coat gives the Kyoto Pearl color a velvet smooth look, which gives an overall chic vibe. The combination of the matte and Kyoto Pearl lasted about roughly a work week, which is why I had to give the nail polishes a lower score.
