Spot On

Hello strangers! It feels like it has been a while since I been back on the Crystal Avenue. In my previous posts, I had mentioned that I was taking an exam in the weeks to come. As of Monday, the exam has been completed and I am patiently waiting for the results. I also wanted to thank my friends, family members, and all of you for being so supportive and patient with me, especially in the last three months. Fingers crossed I passed!

Please also expect more content on the Crystal Avenue for the months ahead. I have a few things planned already, however feel free to reach out via email or my social media outlets to let me know what you would like to see on the Crystal Avenue next.

In the meantime, today’s look "Spot On" features a polka dot dress I purchased from Shop Sosie a while back, but never got around to shooting in it. Since Spring is in full force, I wanted to create a sweet, modest look with the polka dot dress that I could take through my work day to the night with a few friends. The overall lining of the dress looks like a romper, due to the slit in the front of the dress. The slit gives the dress a dressy, flirty feel without crossing the line of being inappropriate for work. Plus there is still fabric underneath the slit, so you won’t have a Marilyn Monroe accident. For the remainder of my outfit, I went for a thin black belt to accentuate my waist, and chose my basic strappy heels from Daily look and watch from Anne Klein.
