June Sunrays

We're already at the halfway point for 2014. If I could throw a few adjectives about how I feel on time right now, I would choose the following words: perplexed, joyous, and assiduous. It's a challenging to pick one word, when life is constantly moving forward without much discretion. As I continue to take on adventures and create memories in moments that I wish could last a few minutes longer, my first fashion post for June is “June Sunrays.”

I spent this past weekend in LA, visiting my brother and soaking up the sun. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and the food was amazing - I can’t wait to be back in LA in a few more weeks. In between the beautiful weather, glorious food, and spontaneous adventures, I squeezed in a little time for a few shoots. For “June Sunrays,” I am wearing a white floral print dress from H&M. In addition to the print and color, I really love this dress, because it is a fitted, knee-length dress that can be worn day to night. It is appropriate to be worn at work for a business casual look, girl's night, or a day or night date with the love bug.

To dress up the look, add in a few of your favorite accessories such as a statement necklace, earrings and/or a watch, and a pair of your favorite heels. For me, I chose my rose gold watch, rose gold heart earrings from Forever 21, and white heels from Aldo for a sophisticated look. I provided the link here, if you are interested in the dress.
