Urban Bloc
Urban Bloc is one of four shoots I did in San Francisco with my sister recently. We first stopped by the Embarcadero Center to scope out the area, art, and culture. While walking down the Embarcadero Center, we saw Vaillancourt Fountain or Québec libre! by Armand Valliancourt. The design behind the Vaillancourt Fountain is very stark and modern to me. As I was entranced by the Vaillancourt Fountain, I bring to you Urban Bloc.
I put together a casual look for the urban girl, who wants to look effortlessly chic with minimal and/or comfort pieces. For comfort, I chose my Cal hoodie and offset it with my pearl burgundy shorts from H&M. I know it is a little bit of a contradiction to be wearing a hoodie with shorts, but as the weather is still fluctuating in the bay area, the look fit the San Francisco weather that day. To complete the urban look, I paired my XHIL sneaker wedges. I have been receiving a lot of compliments on my XHIL sneaker wedges since I purchased them last Fall, as they are a replication of Isabel Marant Benett sneakers for half of the price. I really love my XHIL sneaker wedges, as they are versatile for different types of outfits, comfortable, and add height, while still looking like high tops.
