Ruby Red
“Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas any more...”
Ruby red heels...need I say more? Inspired by the iconic ruby red shoes in the Wizard of Oz, I chose my ruby red heels by Enzo Angiolini to style a modern, spring time look. As the season calls for spring dresses and jean jackets, I chose my stripe dress from Forever 21 and jean jacket from H&M. To extenuate my curves, I added a white belt on top of my stripe dress. The hemline of the dress is one of my favorite parts of this dress, because there is somewhat of a handkerchief hemline, which makes the dress girly and not over the top.
When I am putting an outfit together, I am always looking and thinking about how I can add more flare to an outfit. Hence, both the jean jacket and heels give the look a pop of color and texture. Additional pictures are below:
