Hello, hello ma chérie! How are you all doing today? I hope you are well, taking your days one at time and to give yourself a little extra love. For good measure, I am sending you a virtual hug from the city angels tonight.
Today on the Crystal Avenue and for “Little Touch” post, I am wearing one of Chriselle Lim’s Fall Collection pieces: the Sawyer Sweater Dress. I have been following Chriselle since I saw her in one of Michelle Phan’s videos on styling tips. Chriselle chic style inspired me to always express a level of chicness to every outfit I curate. Thus when Chriselle revealed on social media she was going to have a collection at Nordstrom, I was very ecstatic for this opportunity for her and to see what pieces she would include in the collection.
Once Chriselle’s collection was available at Nordstrom, the piece that I knew I had to have in my wardrobe was the Sawyer Sweater Dress. If you didn’t know before, I am a sucker for sweater dresses because they are a classic, timeless piece. Similar to the little black dress, I love the silhouette that the sweater dress provides the overall look with. Another reason why I am so enamored with the Sawyer Sweater dress is the ivory color, which reminds me that I should add a little bit of more ivory into my wardrobe.
As I work a corporate job, I kept the styling for “Little Touch” simple, clean, and chic. Even though the fit of the Sawyer Sweater dress on me was already form fitting, I chose to cinch my waist to accentuate my curves a little bit more and give the look some additional dimension with a simple black belt. To contrast against the ivory, I went with my black Michael Kors shoulder bag and heels from Steve Madden. I finished the polished look with a pair of my pearl earrings. Also, if I were to go out after work, I would unbutton one of the buttons for an off the shoulder work and wear a bold lip color to change the look from day to night.
I can’t wait for the weather to be a little colder in Los Angeles for me to wear the Sawyer Sweater dress more often. Before I end this post, I wanted to say a congratulations to Chriselle on her line at Nordstrom! I can’t wait to see the spring collection. For everyone else, I will see you in my next post.
