Manicure Monday: Turned Up Turquiose

For today’s Manicure Monday, I wanted to spice it up a bit and pick a nail varnish with with a little bit of an edge. China Glaze’s “Turned Up Turquoise” is definitely edgy and eye-catching, due to the fact that the finished color dries on matte. I haven’t picked up a nail varnish with a matte finish previously, so I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t need to apply a matte top coat to get the look. Also since the nail polish dries matte, the drying time is very quick for you busy bees like myself.

The color is absolutely beautiful - it reminds me of neon lights. Although I have not tried the look with a top coat, I would imagine that “Turned Up Turquoise” can be worn with a top coat for a shiner look, if you are not feeling the matte look.
