Dreaming of You
Hi everyone! How are you doing today? I hope you are well and life isn’t too chaotic. Remember to find some time for yourself, even if it is just for an hour, to check in with your mind and heart, and to pamper yourself. Whether it is taking an extra five minutes in the shower, reading a favorite book, or binging on a television series, the choice is yours.
I know we are approaching the end of October and the season of layering is approaching us. However if you are from California and specifically living in SoCal, the weather still feels like summer, which in turn, my blog can radiate summer vibes for a little bit longer before I take out my Fall wardrobe.
Today’s lookbook “Dreaming of You,” was shot back in May with Victoria Lemos when I was in Seattle. I have been meaning to post “Dreaming of You” sooner, so I am sending a sincere apology to Victoria for the delay. Thank you again, Victoria for making this shoot a dreamy haze. When I listen to “Dreaming of You” by Selena, the melody always throws me into a haze, which I thought was perfect since the golden hour in Seattle did just that. The song also brings different emotions of a new love that you hope is not unrequited. As the song is a classic, I kept “Dreaming of You,” look just that - simple and classic. Lately I have been wanting my dresses and rompers to be the focus of the look, thus I did not want to add any vibrant accessories to the floral print Lulu dress. I went for a pair of gold earrings that swings back and forth for an intricate detail, my Daniel wellington watch, and baby pink pumps.
