Twenty Six

Twenty Six

If someone had told me that they knew how crazy my life would be when I turned twenty five, I wouldn’t have believed them. My reasoning is that I never expected life to become so frantic, especially within the last few weeks. However not to be a complete pessimistic, I had a few moments that I forgotten the franticness is all a part of life and the only thing I should be expecting is the unexpected.

In short, some of my personal highlights of twenty five were the following:

  • I saw myself grow more assertive and aggressive with my goals, dreams, and life.
  • My relationship with my friends and family members became stronger.
  • I moved out of the nest (again).
  • I attended a bunch of concerts and loved the essence of them all.
  • Even though he probably does not agree with me, I fallen for someone special who I feel is completely out of my league and I can’t imagine my life now without him.

Now that I am officially twenty six, I know I still have a long way to go. Although I don’t know what twenty six will bring, I am excited for what is to come whether it is in new adventures or growing pains. I am also forever humbled, thankful, and blessed for everyone in my life and everything that I have. If I personally know you, just know that I am very thankful you are a part of my life. So bring it on, twenty six!

Inspired by Belle from Beauty and the Beast, I am wearing Chi Chi London Petite Bardot Lace Prom Dress. Ever since I bought my first Chi Chi London dress, I have been skewing towards the line when I am on the hunt for a statement and elegant dress. However the main reason I chose the Chi Chi London Petite Bardot Lace Prom Dress is because I wanted a dress that exudes art. As fashion is a form of expression, my artistic soul could not resist the inspiration from the baroque period of silk tapestries and an heavy emphasis on the shoulders.

For the outfit details of “Twenty Six,” I chose a pair of strappy heels in the color gold to match against the print of the dress. As I wanted to keep the overall look romantic and minimalistic to look similar to Belle, I tied half of my hair into a half updo and I wore my rose gold watch from GUESS and a pair of gold earrings.

Thank you again for all the love on the Crystal Avenue. I will see you again soon.
