A Zephyr Heart
Hello, hello! We’re now at the last two weeks of September. I don’t know about you, but I am trying to stretch the last few days of the summer season, before I begin to transition into layers, warmer colors, and pieces. Also with the weather in the bay area and all of California fluctuating again, the summer season allows for a few more summer outfits on the Crystal Avenue.
Driven towards simplicity, I chose a baby blue skater dress from H&M, and paired it with a basic black belt, a white watch from Anne Klein, a set of pearl earrings, a love ring, and strappy heels from Daily Look for “A Zephyr Heart.” As I wanted to hone in on a classic look, I chose basic accessories to alleviate the look, instead of choosing loud and bold accessories that would distract and change how I wanted to showcase “A Zephyr Heart.” There is something about creating looks that are refined to dress for everyday wear or business casual for work that I absolutely love. And so, with the light accessories for “A Zephyr Heart” the idiom “less is more,” definitely holds true. The tucking in the belt accentuates the hips, and elevates the look from looking shapeless.
If you are looking to take a stroll with someone you love or would just like to step away from the sporadic, crazy moments in our lives for some fresh air, visit Pier 14 before the cold weather arrives, so you do not have to bring a heavy jacket. There is a perfect view of the Bay Bridge from Pier 14, and the feeling of the zephyr from the San Francisco Bay against your skin is very serene. Have a wonderful week, everyone!
