Can you tell I am a bit stubborn on the season transitions? As much as fall is my favorite season, my mind is momentarily stuck in summer and it does not help that the weather in the bay area has been continually warm. In the meantime, do not fret - the summer to fall transition is coming.

For “Infinite Love,” I created a look themed around the last summer concert. Regardless of the genre of your last summer concert, when putting a concert look together, I consider the following: comfort, weather, practicality, and the venue. All these considerations go hand in hand to me. You want to be in comfortable clothing, so if you want to get up and dance, you can move freely to your heart’s desire. However you want to wear the appropriate clothes depending on the weather and the venue, since you may get warm quickly, standing shoulder to shoulder and screaming the melodic lyrics on top of your lungs in a closed venue. And lastly, is the look practical, specifically the shoes?

The concert venue I had in mind when I was putting “Infinite Love” together was the Shoreline Amphitheatre, a popular outdoor concert venue located in the bay area. I began to reminisce the different alternative rock concerts. At the Shoreline Amphitheatre during the summer, the weather is typically warm through the summer night. Hence, I chose the “Love Infinity” muscle crop tee from Brandy Melville, H&M shorts, triangle earrings from H&M, and my trusty black booties from Target. Overall, the look allows me to stay cool throughout the concert, while singing on top of my lungs with my favorite band and possibly dance in my comfortable booties. Thus "Infinite Love" checks off on all of my four points!

I have a few projects planned for the Crystal Avenue, so be sure continue to check back here as well as following my instagram: thecrystalavenue and twitter: thecrystalave for more unveilings of what is to come. I will see you guys again very soon!
