Charmed One

Alas, it is September. For the US residents and followers, how was your labor day weekend? Hopefully it was well spent, relaxing, and with your loved ones.

There are a few weeks left before fall returns and the summer to fall transition begins. However as the California warmth still lingers into the night, I created another summer look. I’d like to say that some of my inspiration came from Lara Croft for this look, but unfortunately this look was put together naturally after purchasing the shorts from Bebe.

The portion that intrigued me was the black triangular lining with a gold zipper pockets. To my eyes, the triangular design really correlates with the asparagus colored shorts, which as a result, made it really easy to create a look around it. I wanted to play with the color black to make the shorts stand out. Thus I chose my tank from theory, black triangle earrings, booties, and a silver circle necklace, to complete the look.
