Clean
Here I am again: square one and finally clean. Clean from all the empty promises, the selfish love, and the person who had the potential to change everything earlier this year.
I dedicate this post to you and me. This is a reminder that it is never too late to press the restart button to start over and learn to grow with the experience. Whether it is a relationship or a lingering adversity, it is also okay to let go if you need to, especially when there is nothing left to salvage. Don’t let it tarnish your ideologies for the future. As cliche as it is, what is meant to be will be and you will be okay again. Breathe.
Do not worry - I have been okay for a while now and am finally getting around to posting this look for you on The Crystal Avenue. I do feel anew and I am still enjoying life in Los Angeles.
For today’s lookbook “Clean,” I wanted to play on the theme of colors that I had for my “Twenty Eight” birthday post. And so, “Clean” represents a new beginning and a sense of being of open again with the color white for me. I decided to keep the look very minimalistic and chose the Carissa flowy dress from 2020ave. What I like about the Carissa flowy dress is the small cut in the back. This little detail adds a romantic feel without revealing my entire back.
Since the dress was flowy, I felt like I needed a little color as well as to cinch and accentuate my waist. I also wanted to add a little vibe of an Amazon princess to elevate the outfit and myself. Thus, I chose a braided brown belt to finish the look.
