In The Haze
The weather in the bay area has been inconsistent lately, which to me, only makes sense since this is the transition period between winter and spring season. With cloudy skies lingering throughout the bay area, I took the opportunity to style a warmer look featuring a mustard cable knit sweater from MINKPINK in my February Dailylook Elite box. I know this look definitely would not work for the individuals who live in the colder climates, thus I use the phrase “a warmer look” very loosely. Possibly next fall or winter I will be able to shoot different outfits in colder conditions. Stay tuned!
With that said, I was ecstatic to see a cable knit sweater in my Dailylook Elite box because I do not own too many cable knit sweaters or even articles of clothing in the color mustard. Therefore, I knew I had to add the mustard cable knit sweater from MINKPINK to my wardrobe. Along with the sweater being super cozy, it is also a versatile piece to layer with a light jacket or your favorite bomber jacket. However for me, I kept the look simple since I felt the sweater was bold enough to stand alone against the H&M slim fit pants. To finish the look, I chose a pair of black booties with a peephole toe from GUESS.
