Leather jackets are definitely a staple outerwear piece in my closet. For me, leather jackets are an outerwear piece that I can quickly put on without much thought on if it will clash or ruin the overall look, because leather jackets are versatile through all seasons. Whether you choose a light, clunky or chunky leather jacket, the style of the leather jacket will set the overall mood of the look.

Hence for today’s look, I picked one of my casual faux leather jackets I purchased from H&M that is also pictured in the background of “The Crystal Avenue.” I love the material of the tan faux leather jacket because the leather material is dense enough to keep you warm on the colder days and cool on spring nights. Also as an added bonus, this particular faux leather jacket can be worn in the rain with a layered thin hoodie underneath to keep you dry.

Underneath my leather jacket, I paired my Karol top, a black top with lace lining around the shoulders and the hem of the top that I purchased from Shop Sosie a few months back. I finished the look with my Levi’s skinny jeans and my Steve Madden booties that were also featured in my “XO” shoot. The Steve Madden booties are slowly becoming my go to shoes to take on the weekend. I know these booties are visually chunky and may look difficult to walk in. However I was quite pleased and surprised on the ease of walking in these killer booties while running errands around town.
