Business Charm

Today on the Crystal Avenue, I bring to you my interpretation on a business casual look. My loved ones refer to this look as the “Classic Crystal Look,” since there was a time in my professional, work life that I was obsessed with blazers as you can never go wrong with one.

I know it is a bit difficult to determine what is business casual, because every company has its own rules and regulations on work dress code. Thus for today’s look “Business Charm,” strays away from the corporate look and is for the companies that want you to have at least one piece of clothing that is dressy. Starting at the upper half, I started with my basic black tank top from Forever 21. To layer on top, I chose my favorite off-white blazer from H&M. I really like the design of the shoulders padding, as the design gives off a classy, elegant business feel. Since I tied my hair up, I chose my gold hoops from Forever 21, adding an edgy pop. For the lower half, I chose my tan slacks, also from H&M, to continue the business casual look. And to wrap up the look, I picked my trusty booties from Target.

As yellow tulips symbolizes joy, as well as elegance and grace, posing in front of tulips for “Business Charm” was absolutely perfect. Overall, “Business Charm” remains true to the woman who wants to have a level of confidence and elegance in a business environment, without being too over the top.
