Sailin' Away
Ahoy matey, everyone! How is everyone’s Sundays looking for far?
For today’s look, I wanted to showcase a nautical look for a casual brunch or lunch. When I was looking through my closet for a piece to start building a nautical look, I came across my Aldo boat shoes. The Aldo boat shoes are interesting in the sense that they are a fusion of a boat style, a more aggressive edge, and the ballet flat style, a sweeter spin on our feet. Typically, I do not come across too many shoe design fusions like the boat shoe and ballet flat - it truly is intriguing.
As the weather was warmer today, I wanted to wear my favorite white shorts from Abercrombie that I purchased a few fashion seasons ago. These shorts are more on the comfortable side, rather than fitting side. With my shorts, I paired my trusty H&M belt to add an extra pop. And so, to complete the nautical look, I chose my navy stripe cardigan from Ellen Tracy, and wore my black cami underneath with the classic french braid. A few details are pictured below. Bon voyage!
