A Fashionista's Dream App: Style Kick
Sometimes I feel like pinching myself to make sure I am not dreaming, and today just happened to be the day. For a few months now, I have been interacting with the team at Style Kick, a Toronto-based startup that created a site that personalizes your shopping experience and style. Style Kick now has an application at the App Store for fashionistas to inspire, share their day-to-day looks, and provide product details for other fashionistas to purchase the same pieces.
As a fashion blogger, Style Kick offered me a spot as a featured blogger, and I feel absolutely blessed that this opportunity came about. Before I go further into the application, I wanted to thank Natalie and everyone at the Style Kick headquarters for this feature and opportunity - you are all so awesome. I cannot wait to see what will continue to unravel for Style Kick as the years go by.
With that said, the Style Kick application is very easy to use. When the application is open, you flip through full-screen outfits and looks by fashionistas from all over the world. What I love the most about this application is the “shop the look” functionality, where the product details are provided. And if the product details are missing, you can directly tweet the poster/blogger for more information, which makes this application very interactive as well. It is almost like you have your very own stylist. Overall, I am very happy with the Style Kick application, and I cannot wait to share more looks with you on the Style Kick application, while continuing to build a community for individuals with a love for fashion.
