Breakin' The Law
Hello everyone! Apologies for the lack of fashion posts lately. Mayhem has been in full throttle, so I haven’t been able to set some time to blog and talk about fashion with you guys.
For today’s post, I wanted to style a look around the little black dress for all women, who are empower through their busy lives. When Audrey Hepburn, one of my fashion icons, wore the black Givenchy dress in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” with a statement pearl necklace, oversized sunglasses and black gloves, her look became the epitome of the little black dress or LBD. And so, as an essential piece in every woman’s closet, the LBD is a simple, elegant yet classic dress for all seasons and events. Depending on the occasion, a LBD can be dressed up or down and still look absolutely stunning. You can pair a LBD with just a fitting blazer and strappy heels for a daytime business wear look. And then for a night on the town, you can accessorize with a few statement pieces: earrings, bracelets, necklaces and a clutch or purse, and still keep the classic, elegant feel, while exuding confidence.
The little black dress I chose for “Breakin’ the Law” is from Armani Exchange. This LBD is one of my favorites, because it enhances your curves without being a bodycon dress. I also love the femininity feel the sleeve design gives off. To complete the LBD ensemble, I chose my stripe Zara heels and Michael Kors clutch to keep the look refine and business casual.
