California Love
As a native to the golden state, most of my memories, beloved family members and friends reside here. Although the future is uncertain to where it will take me, California will always have a place in my heart if I ever have to relocate. Hence in light of my love for California, I put together a casual, laid-back outfit, reppin’ California today.
Inspired by the crop top and beanie trend, I am wearing Kate CA Bear Tank, a muscle tank from Brandy Melville, and a yellow beanie from Forever 21. Underneath the Kate CA Bear Tank, I picked my Chiyo Top, a bralet also from Brandy Melville. Lastly for extra comfort and to complete the look, I am wearing my favorite skinnies and combat boots from H&M.
The two trends of crop tops and beanies escalated into popularity last year, and still is very prevalent today. Depending on the style and design, crop tops flatter the body by demonstrating and showcasing different levels of skin. Moreover, beanies can be worn with everything and are practical for cold weather. Therefore, as crop tops and beanies are effortless and comfortable to wear, pairing the two together only makes sense in the fashion world.
In conclusion, I titled this look after one of my favorite songs from the 90’s: 2Pac’s “California Love,” featuring Dre. Dre and Roger Troutman.
