Dot to Dot
Whew! What a busy week it has been. Thankfully, we’re only a day away from the weekend. If you are reading from California, weather reports state that it will be fairly warm. Make sure you go out and enjoy the pre-spring and summer weather!
Today’s fashion post “Dot to Dot,” I am wearing a Marc Jacobs’ blouse, which was gifted to me by one of my cousins. What caught my eye the most about this top is the pattern design - dots. There are a lot of tops that have a polka dot design, however I hardly come across tops that have consecutive dots as their pattern design. So thanks again for the intriguing Marc Jacobs’ blouse, Anne!
On the neckline of the silk blouse, there is extra fabric to create a necktie or bow of your choice. For this look, I chose to tie a regular bow to keep the look feminine, simple and clean. Also since the silk blouse is loose, I decided to tuck the front of the blouse into my white skinny jeans from Adriano Goldschmied (AG) for more of a form fit. Lastly to wrap the whole look into a bow, I tied my hair into a high pony tail and I chose my sleek, navy blue heels from Nine West, and my rose gold watch from Target.
The whole outfit is versatile for any event- it is perfect for work, a rendezvous with the lovebug, or a night out on the town with your girlfriends. So why not recreate a similar look for this Friday night or weekend? For detailed pictures, check them out below:
