Miss Independent
'Cause she walk like a boss, talk like a boss…is what I wanted to showcase--a more confident, edgier Crystal. With a moto jacket from H&M, a rose gold watch from Target, red skinny jeans from Cotton On, gold studs from Forever 21, and one of my favorite Aldo heels, I channeled Miss Independent, who is ready to take on the world like a boss. Also, I'm not sure what exactly it is about this combination of clothes and colors that strikes an audacious cord in me, but I like it.
And what better song to represent this edgy look than "Miss Independent" by Ne-Yo? I think "She Got Her Own" by Ne-Yo ft. Jamie Foxx and Fabolous also comes pretty close to representing an independent woman. Give both songs a listen and share with me your thoughts on this outfit.
