Black Lustre

Black Lustre

Hello, hello again, everyone! It has been a while since I have checked in with you all. How are you all doing? I hope July has been treating you all well,  and you are enjoying the weather and spending time with your loved ones.

Scrolling through my last few outfit posts on the Crystal Avenue, I decided it was time to finally share another shoot I did with Andrew over a year ago. As you all know, I cannot resist a little black dress or a LBD. The last little black dress that I shared on the Crystal Avenue was back in April with “Devil’s Advocate.” Personally, the duration of not sharing another little black dress post on the Crystal Avenue is long overdue. So let’s get started below!

For today’s outfit of the day, I bring to you “Black Lustre.” The key styling point of “Black Lustre” is the use of color blocking. I made the choice to color block with a vampy color for my lips and shoes, and rose gold for my earrings and watch, to allow the dress from Dailylook shine in all of its glory. As I mentioned previously, when I shop for little black dresses, I love a bodycon fit and the Dailylook dress does not stray away from that category. My favorite part of the Dailylook dress is the shoulder hem, because my shoulders feel more accentuated. Also what I love about the “Black Lustre” look is how versatile it is. As a working professional, I love how I can wear this look at work, and then I can take it out for a night on the town with my girlfriends.

I promise this is the last one from Andrew’s set that we did in 2016. As always, thank you Andrew for being so patient with me and I’ll see you all again soon.
