Cascading Petals

Cascading Petals

We’re back on The Crystal Avenue with the last look of February. It’s crazy how packed February was, especially with New York Fashion Week (NYFW), and the Lunar New Year events and activities. Unfortunately, I was unable to partake in NYFW this year. It has always been a dream of mine to attend NYFW. Maybe in the next few years I’ll be able to attend, see a few shows, and meet fashionistas around the world. If you were able to attend, I would love to hear from you in the comments below!

With the weather slowly springing into warmer days, I have been slowly transitioning my winter pieces out of my wardrobe for spring pieces and colors. Although I am still having trouble transitioning out of wearing an article of black clothing, I couldn’t pass up shooting in a spring color when it was warm in the bay area this past weekend.

For “Cascading Petals,” my last look for February, I went with a baby pink blazer from H&M, a white cami, and black heels. I have been on the hunt for an edgy blazer without buttons for my wardrobe. What caught my eye with the baby pink blazer from H&M was the gold zipper lining and how the front section of the blazer has no buttons and is slightly longer, which in effect, gives an effortless feel when you are walking around. Also, you can never go wrong with a little bit of pastel colors to slowly transition into the upcoming spring season. Unfortunately, the color is not available from H&M online as I originally bought the blazer in store. If you like the blazer and want to see the different color choices, the product links are available below.

As we are wrapping up on the last few days of February, what are you all looking forward to in March? Any fashion dilemmas or requests you would like to see here on the Crystal Avenue? I would love to hear from you in the comments and I will see you all in March with more looks, fashion advice and inspiration.
