Cool Kicks

Now that we are at the end of the week, hopefully for those who resumed school, you finished the week strong and overall had a good week. Feel free to tell me about your week in the comments section below - I would love to hear from you.

As letterman jackets are a representation of high school pride and personal achievements, I wanted to conclude the back to school looks for high school with “Cool Kicks.” I love the look of a letterman jacket because it is androgynous, and is versatile enough to create and pair different looks over as the weather transitions.

Even after years of leaving my high school stomping grounds, the preppy, letterman jacket trend is still very prevalent in the fashion world today. Hence for “Cool Kicks,” I am wearing my Forever 21 letterman jacket with a stripe tank top from Banana Republic, black shorts from H&M and kicks from Nike. I really wanted to play and hone in on the color schemes and patterns of the letterman jacket to correlate “Cool Kicks.”

To the high school students: have a wonderful year ahead. Absorb all the knowledge you can. Make never ending friendships with unexpected people. Let that inner confidence shine.
