For Eyes
TGIF everyone! We’re only a few hours away from the long weekend. As there are a bunch of events going on, what is everyone’s plans for Memorial Day weekend? Tell me about your plans in the comments below.
The theme of today’s look “For Eyes” is basics. Basics are essential pieces you should have in your wardrobe like an assortment of camis, tops, jeans, hoodies, as they are easy to incorporate for a wide range of looks. I think it is important to have basics, since they can be seen as a stepping stone and foundation to discovering your style.
The basic piece I worked with for “For Eyes” is a white v-neck from Forever 21. Like most basics, v-necks can be worn dressy or casually. In this case, I wanted to create a hipster look around a casual v-neck, where accessorizing is key. The first accessory I chose was my coral infinity scarf from Target for a pop of color. The second accessory I chose was my glasses from Urban outfitters to emphasize the hipster trend. And the last accessory I chose was my off the shoulder bag from Target. To complete the look, I put my hair into a bun and I paired my skinnies from H&M and wingtips from Nine West.
